wrote things like ‘Gaius was here,’ ‘Go
hang yourself,’ 'Thou art bald,’
'Atemitus got me pregnant,’ 'I screwed
a lot of girls here,’ 'Phileros is a eunuch!’
and 'Secundus defacated here,’
suggesting that human behavior hasn’t
